This direction has helped embed safety as an essential part of the daily work environment. It has contributed to lower injury rates and a reduction in serious accidents, confirming the effectiveness of the policies adopted and the continuous improvement of safe work systems within the company.
To support effective participation, the company developed an electronic application that allows employees to report unsafe conditions and follow up on them. This improves the speed of risk response and strengthens communication across different job levels. This is supported by awareness activities, workshops, specialized meetings, and incentive programs that encourage compliance with safe practices.
The SET mobile application supports occupational health and safety for people, production, equipment, and the environment. These are the main principles for providing safe working conditions and ensuring that users return home healthy, safe, and without injuries. The application is designed to help everyone at Libyan Cement Company monitor, intervene, and agree on future actions to improve occupational health and safety across the company. The application provides a faster and easier guide for writing observations. It also offers an overview of the current health and safety situation by showing statistics related to work environment hazards and identifying unsafe or high-risk conditions.
